Download LastFM Artworks:
- Hold SHIFT key + Right-click on a album or artist. (This uses the artist/album as the search terms)
For foobar read these images you must add this paths in Preferences > Display > Album art
> Front cover: "C:\Program Files\foobar2000\themes\fusion\images\artists\[%artist%]\[%album%]\%album%*.*"
If you like it, support me with a or comment
I was wondering whether you could add an option for a feature. Some of my albums have multiple artists, and those tracks have multiple artists (i.e. Sherlock Season 1 Soundtrack). I've named the album artist: "David Arnold;Michael Price" and the ; becomes a comma within the foobar environment (like so i.imgur.com/Clh2YWe.png)
What I would love is if these artists were separate because I have a number of artists in my artists tab that I also have separately.
So any artists that are seperated by a ";" in the metadata should be considered individual artists. Hopefully you get what I mean. It's pretty difficult to explain. Anyway loving the theme, really looking forward to the finished version. Will definitely donate again once it's done.
Tho it is normal that the album artwork isn't displayed in the now playing tab, but is fine everywhere else?
I realllllllllly would like to use this theme, I'd be happy to donate if you can fix this.
Having trouble with album art though. It downloads perfectly fine but fails to load even after adding the directory C:\Program Files\foobar2000\themes\fusion\images\artists\[%artist%]\[%album%]\%album%*.* to the search pattern
am I doing something wrong?
you just need to fix some bugs, then it's PERFECT
Currently, it doesn't respect multi-value fields. So if I classify an album's genre as "Dubstep; Drum & Bass", the 'Genre' tab in your skin makes a genre called "Dubstep, Drum & Bass", when what it should do is add that album under both the 'Dubstep' genre and the 'Drum & Bass' genre.
Thanks! Let me know if I wasn't clear enough.
(sorry for the triple post but again, due to mediocre implementation my comments get marked as spam...)
Other problems I've noticed:
*I can select an album by using Ctrl + click, however I cannot deselect it. Also, if I select multiple albums and then right click and select Properties, I'm not editing the properties of all the selected albums, just the one. It would be cool if you could Shift select multiple items too. (EDIT: editing properties of multiple selections seems to only work if I keep holding Ctrl, which is weird)
*When I add something to the playlist or change anything at all, it scrolls to the top automatically. Ideally, if I add anything to the playlist, it focuses on where it was added (depending on the sort)
*The sort options seem to be editing the actual playlist, which might be a bit problematic if you have playlists with a specific order that you want to retain (hence my initial change)
*Playlist search should focus on the first album it finds (at the moment it does not move/scroll at all)
*Sometimes the cover thumbnail is pixelated
This theme is really fantastic. Once thing I had to improve is adding a "Sort by default" option so that my playlist order is retained. This is an important feature that I'm sure other people need too.
(I need to break up this comment into separate ones because this stupid comment system thinks it's spam...)
When you hover over a track, it gives you an option to play it or to put it in a queue. Next to the queue option (or maybe down in the 'now playing' bar, you should give the option to repeat a track. Otherwise, you have to open the extended menu.
I don't seem to be able to make album artwork appear on the lefthand panel - is there a way to fix this?
Otherwise, awesome theme! Maybe make the top pane (with Artists, Albums, Genres, Songs, and sorting options) a bit thinner so there is more room in the main window.
Do you think it would be possible to include an option to move the playback buttons to the other side of the seekbar?
How to hide somg info right panel?
Is there any plans to implement showing lyrics?
Some Icons could use some makeover as they look blurry. PlayList/Pause/Now Playing in sidebar/Trash Icon.
Cover Art doesn't load from FLAC files but from MP3 files (what could cause this?)
Albums don't sort properly, removing the $if2(...) at the start of it made it sort properly.
Collection View (Library) appears to not work properly at all, it doesn't play what i click in the Playlist view instead it plays some other song in a different album, seems the maping is very funky, Clicking the Play Icon in the playlist view while in Collection view plays a different song > jumps to that album, clicking play on song there again jumps to a different album etc. Basically the Collcetion view doesn't work at all
Clicking Play on Cover Art does not load Album but plays current song.
Any way to fix this?
Very functional, stylish, and easy on the eyes.
Is there a way to merge multi-disc albums into one album? As opposed to having "X Album, disc 1" and then "X Album, disc 2"
I look forward to the next version!
Is there any chance to see this theme published on github or equivalent ?
When finished with v2.5 I'll post on github for all who wish to collaborate
On the new playlist panel there's friendly welcome message inviting to drag and drop files or click to add files. However drag & drop from explorer doesn't seem to work (and clicking works only for first tab). Am I doing something wrong?
If you are, don't. Creates compatibility issues with Drag & Drop. If the problem persists, respond.
And the inability to click is odd, since I can (Windows 8.1, 64 bit).
Is your Foobar installation Standard or Portable?
Just some eventual nice-to-haves:
Support for multiple genres per song (foobar2000 uses semicolon-separated genres; the Genres list currently shows them all together instead of parsed out)
5-star ratings support (via the standard foo_playcount component)
Ctrl+A shortcut support (Select All)
Once again, thanks for the best theme ever!
One question, I can't use the scroll wheel to scroll down the track listing when I have an album selected. It would be nice to have that feature.
Thanks for all your hard work!!!!
Question: how to download album art from LastFM? I could not find the option. or do I need additional component?
Thx in advance, Cheers!
PS: look forward to a lyrics panel~
Still, this is pretty amazing for being all WSH.
Thanks again for sharing.
